Token not detected? Quick fixes

  1. Install the correct driver for your token from the buttons above, then restart the PC.
  2. Unplug and replug the token, and try a different USB port (use a rear port on desktops, avoid hubs).
  3. Fully close every browser window and reopen — the token is read when the browser starts.
  4. On Windows, open Device Manager → Smart card readers and confirm the token appears without a yellow warning.
  5. Make sure only one token driver conflicts — if you switched token brands, the older driver can interfere.
  6. For portals that use Java (older utilities), install/enable Java and add the portal to the exception site list.

Frequently asked questions

Which driver do I need?

It depends on the token hardware, not the CA. Use the mToken driver for an mToken CryptoID, the HYP2003 driver for a Hypersecu HYP2003, and the ProxKey driver for a Watchdata WD ProxKey.

Are these drivers safe?

Yes — these are the genuine, unmodified installers. The HYP2003 driver comes directly from Hypersecu's official servers.
