What is a DGFT Digital Signature Certificate?

A DGFT DSC is a Class 3 organisation-level signing certificate issued in the name of an authorised signatory of an import-export firm. It is specifically configured to authenticate transactions on the DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) portal, giving filings the same legal standing as a hand-written signature under the IT Act, 2000.
