These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the DSC Buddy website and the services we provide in connection with Digital Signature Certificates (DSCs), USB tokens and related products. Please read them carefully before placing an order or registering as a partner. By using our website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Important disclaimer: DSC Buddy does not issue, own, manufacture or provide any Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) or related product. All DSCs and products are issued and provided solely by registered / licensed Certifying Authorities (CAs) approved under the Information Technology Act, 2000. DSC Buddy acts only as an independent seller, channel and referral partner, and does not collect any payment from customers, directly or indirectly. All payments, commissions, margins, invoicing and applicable taxes (including GST) are collected, administered and disbursed by the respective licensed Certifying Authority or its authorised principal under whose partnership programme the services are provided.
By accessing this website, submitting an application, purchasing a certificate, or enrolling as a reseller or partner, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. If you are acting on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.
DSC Buddy operates only as an independent seller, channel and referral partner for Digital Signature Certificates and related products. We do not issue, own, manufacture or provide any DSC or product ourselves. All Digital Signature Certificates and products are issued and provided solely by registered / licensed Certifying Authorities (CAs) approved under the Information Technology Act, 2000. Our role is limited to marketing, assisting applicants and partners with registration, eKYC, documentation and delivery, and forwarding verified applications to a licensed Certifying Authority for issuance. The certificate itself, and its legal validity, scope and lifecycle, are owned and governed by the issuing Certifying Authority and applicable law.
To apply for a certificate, you must provide accurate, complete and current information. Issuance requires identity verification, which may include Aadhaar or PAN-based eKYC and video verification, as mandated by the Certifying Authority and applicable guidelines.
All certificate issuance is subject to the licensed Certifying Authority's approval following successful verification. We do not guarantee that any application will result in an issued certificate. Any turnaround times we mention are estimates only and may vary depending on verification, document quality, Certifying Authority processing and government portal availability. We are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control.
Relationships with distributors, franchise partners and resellers are governed by the signed partner agreement, which prevails in case of any conflict with these Terms.
Services are offered on a per-certificate basis at prices that may change from time to time without prior notice. DSC Buddy does not collect any payment from customers, directly or indirectly. All payments, fees, commissions, margins, invoicing and applicable taxes (including GST) for certificates and products are collected, administered and disbursed by the respective licensed Certifying Authority or its authorised principal under whose partnership programme the services are provided. Any commission, margin or payout earned by a distributor, franchise or reseller partner is determined and paid by that Certifying Authority / principal in accordance with the applicable partnership model and agreement, and all related tax and GST compliance is handled by them.
You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes.
Where a USB token or hardware device is part of your order, it will be shipped to the address you provide. You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address is accurate and complete. Risk in the hardware passes to you on delivery, and any re-shipment arising from an incorrect address may attract additional charges.
The DSC Buddy name, logo, brand, website design, text, graphics and other content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or use any of our brand or content without our prior written permission.
Certain figures, statistics and indicators shown on this website — including, without limitation, the number of partners, years of experience or expertise, certificates or DSCs issued, ratings, badges, avatars and similar metrics — are indicative and provided for general illustration and marketing purposes only. Such figures may reflect aggregate or combined data across our team, network, associated channel, distribution and referral relationships, onboarding carried out through other partners or platforms, and the wider digital-signature ecosystem, and may include estimates, projections and rounded values.
These figures are not a precise, audited or independently verified count of DSC Buddy's own direct customers, and must not be relied upon as a representation, warranty or guarantee of past performance or future results. Any examples of earnings, margins, commissions, turnaround times or growth are illustrative only; actual outcomes vary and depend on factors including a partner's own effort, market conditions and customer demand. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding commitment as to volumes, income or results, and no part of it should be construed as financial, legal or professional advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DSC Buddy is not liable for delays or failures caused by the Certifying Authority, downtime or unavailability of government portals, or any misuse, loss or compromise of the certificate, token, PIN or private key by the holder. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim arising out of an order is limited to the amount actually paid by you for that specific order.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DSC Buddy, its officers, employees and partners from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your submission of inaccurate or fraudulent information, your misuse of a certificate or token, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Please review it carefully, as certain charges become non-refundable once issuance has begun.
We may suspend or terminate your access to our services, or decline to process an order, at our discretion, including where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, a breach of these Terms or the partner agreement, or non-compliance with applicable law. Provisions relating to liability, indemnity, intellectual property and governing law survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Noida, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our services.
We may update or revise these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, and your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
